the 29-year-old actor shares that the core cast of characters might want to put their crime-busting, bear-fighting, ritual-sacrificing, speakeasy-running and — *checks notes* — superpowered adventures aside.

Cole shared that after six seasons of the CW series, he and "most" of his castmates are ready to "wrap it up with a bow." Since the show premiered in 2017, we've seen Jughead, Archie, Betty, Veronica, Cheryl and the rest of thecrew encounter everything from cults to a deadly board game to an alternate universe; the plot haswas more of a "sleepy small town with a dark secret" show and less of a "our main character fight bears and has superpowers" show.

But according to Cole, the cast doesn't have a lot of input as to what goes on on set. “I'm not a creative force behind []. I actually have no creative control,” Cole said in the interview. “We show up, receive the scripts often the day of, and we're asked to shoot.” He also shared that he had been asked to direct an episode, but declined.
