Sunday was another cold, winter-like day across central and south Alabama. That was mainly true during the morning, with lows in the mid to upper 20s in most locations. Afternoon temperatures rebounded a bit, into the upper 50s and low 60s. Sunshine was abundant due to a near-cloudless sky. The sky remains mainly clear Sunday night, allowing temperatures to fall into the upper 20s to low 30s by sunrise Monday.

After a cold and frosty morning, temperatures warm a bit, but only into the mid 50s Monday. The sky remains mainly sunny throughout the day. Monday night looks mainly clear and cold with lows in the upper 20s to low 30s. Tuesday could be even colder, with high temperatures only in the low 50s. Tuesday night lows fall into the 20s.

The rest of the week looks a touch milder. High temperatures rebound into the low 60s Wednesday afternoon, despite increasing clouds. Wednesday night lows only fall into the 40s. Thursday and Friday look mostly cloudy with highs in the mid 60s. Some rain appears possible each day, with a better chance Thursday. Models show different outcomes for next weekend’s weather, but some degree of cloud-cover likely linger, with rain possible also.
