It's going to be windy and cool today
We go from a spring like feel, back to a cool weather pattern this morning. High temperatures are occurring in the morning. We’re start the day in the 70s, the rest of the day is in the 60s. It is going to be windy! A wind advisory is in effect from 9am to 6pm with NW sustained at 15-25 mph and gusting to 35 mph. Rain chances are not high and if we get rain it won’t measure up to much. But this could be a big inconvenience especially for those outside at the rodeo.Not much rain is expectedThursday morning starts off chilly with temperatures in the 40s. The afternoon will stay cool with a high of only 58°. Our next area of low pressure is expected Monday. I’m watching for the potential of a “weakness” forming in the atmosphere over southeast Texas.
