Breezy and cold conditions will continue this weekend with highs in the lower 30s both today and tomorrow. Clouds thicken late tomorrow into tomorrow night ahea
d of our Monday winter storm.
The snow will get more consistent and steadier through Monday morning and continue through the afternoon before tapering off Monday night. Most of the region we'll see a solid 2 to 4 inches with amounts of up to 6 inches possible south of US 30. Even higher amounts are expect over northern and central Maryland. Travelling for your Monday morning commute will be tricky as the snow will immediately stick to paved surfaces.
Travel will continue to be an issue through the remainder of your Monday. Because of the impending winter storm and the threat for difficult travel, the CBS 21 First Warning weather team has declared Monday a Weather WARN Day.
