The United States Coast Guard has launched a search effort for two men who departed Cape May, New Jersey on November 26 in a 30-foot sailboat.
All three set sail on the vessel "Atrevida II" from Utsch's Marina in Cape May. But the Coast Guard says they haven't been seen since December after a stop in North Carolina. The men were traveling to Marathon Key, Florida.Kevin Hyde and Joe Ditomasso left Cape May on Nov. 26. They last spoke with family on Dec. 3.The last person to reportedly hear from Ditomasso was a friend.
On Monday, the Coast Guard announced an air and water search effort. They're focused on the ocean between North Carolina and Marathon Key.
