“What is the biggest challenge facing coaches today?”
“The time commitment that goes into coaching is a challenge. People don’t understand just how little we see our families during the season and in some cases out of season. It puts a lot of stress on the family. The other thing that I think is a challenge that people don’t realize is how much pressure/stress is on coaches. Our jobs, moods, happiness in some cases on relied on 14-18 year-old high school students doing the right thing on and off the floor.
