Palm Springs native DannyLux made his Coachella debut and Domi and J.D. Beck brought out special guests Mac DeMarco and Thundercat on Friday, April 14.
The sun had just started its descent Friday during day one of thewhen the L.A. group Muna took the stage and turned the Mojave Tent into a joyful dance party for anyone who’s ever had their heart broken.
But the response from the crowd to that point was dwarfed when Muna wrapped up its set with “Silk Chiffon” and was joined first by Phoebe Bridgers, and then a verse later by Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus, who as a trio perform as Boygenius, which is scheduled to play the fest on Saturday.
