During a Nuggets-Mavericks game, Deion Sanders coveted Greg Anthony's jacket, leading to a mid-game delivery orchestrated by his son, Shedeur Sanders, and a security guard.
Shedeur Sanders found himself in a rather unique situation during the Denver Nuggets -Dallas Mavericks game on Tuesday night. While his father, Deion Sanders, better known as Coach Prime, watched the game from his home, he took to social media, specifically X, to express his admiration for TNT broadcaster and former NBA player Greg Anthony 's stylish black-and-white printed jacket with a red pocket square. Coach Prime made a simple request: he wanted one just like it.
Luckily for Deion, Shedeur was courtside, acting as the perfect intermediary. During the fourth quarter, Deion's message flashed on the screen during the broadcast. Anthony, seemingly game for the impromptu fashion exchange, decided to remove his jacket and hand it to TNT sideline reporter Jared Greenberg. Greenberg then made his way over to Shedeur, who appeared a bit confused as he spoke with Greenberg, likely unaware of his father's online plea. Eventually, Shedeur accepted the jacket with a smile as the game drew to a close. After the game, Shedeur gave the jacket to a security guard, leading to the assumption that it would return to its original owner, Anthony. However, the story took an unexpected turn. Anthony and the highly touted NFL prospect posed for a picture together, and the security guard, now tasked with a new mission, followed Shedeur's entourage, ready to deliver the jacket to its new owner. The image of Greg Anthony taking a selfie with Shedeur while a security guard in the background carries a sports jacket gifted to Shedeur's father is truly the only way that game could have ended.
