Good luck Mina!
A Belfast cat is hoping to impress pet lovers across Ireland as it represents Co Down in the Nose of Tralee competition.
Mina, a nine-year-old tortoiseshell cat from Belfast has been selected as the representative for Co Down after making her way through the semi-finals and is one of only a handful of cats that have made it to the final round.Originally born as the runt of her litter, she has grown up into a fiesty and loveable feline who loves snuggles with her owner Clare O'Neill and sleeping in the garden on sunny days, particularly in a warm plant pot if one is available.
She said: "Looking back at the previous winners of the Nose of Tralee there has never been a cat that has taken home the title and we are hoping that this year Mina can put an end to that. "We think that she has done well so far because the picture we used to enter her is a lot of fun and she is showing her fangs off like a little vampire, but we have many more pictures of her looking cute even if she can be a bit difficult to stay still for the camera.
