'Maggots, mice and mold. That is what tenants in the Baltimore area say they have experienced in properties owned by Kushner Companies,' CNN reporter Randi Kaye said.
CNN host Jake Tapper on Monday mocked President Donald Trump for apparently forgetting that his son-in-law Jared Kushner's family owns thousands of apartments in Baltimore, before slamming the city as a"rat and rodent infested mess" over the weekend.
Tapper then aired a news package in Baltimore."Maggots, mice and mold. That is what tenants in the Baltimore area say they have experienced in properties owned by Kushner Companies, as in Jared Kushner, the president's son-in-law," Kaye said in the segment's opening voiceover. The reporter goes on to interview Baltimore County Executive John Olszewski.
"His Baltimore district is FAR WORSE and more dangerous. His district is considered the Worst in the USA," Trump tweeted."Cumming['s] District is a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess. If he spent more time in Baltimore, maybe he could help clean up this very dangerous & filthy place." Kaye noted that in 2017"Baltimore county found more than 200 code violations by Kushner Companies at its various properties, everything from lack of plumbing to rodent infestations."
