CNN senior legal analyst Elie Honig called the slow pace of the DOJ investigation into first son Hunter Biden “beyond anything” he has ever seen.

“This is preposterous,” senior legal analyst Elie Honig said during the network’s. ”This has been pending, according to our reporting at CNN, since 2018 – five years.”

Hunter Biden is also under investigation for a possible false statement related to a gun purchase, a probe that that was initiated after his sister-in-law-turned-lover, Hallie Biden,— leading to a search by Secret Service agents and a disclosure of the weapon’s sale to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

CNN senior legal analyst Elie Honig called the Department of Justice’s delayed investigation of Hunter Biden “preposterous.”Honig expressed his shock on Monday that investigators, led by Delaware US Attorney David Weiss, were taking so long to reach a charging decision in the case, given the seemingly narrow scope of the DOJ’s probe.
