WWE Superstar and professional wrestling icon CM Punk is going to take some time away from WWE after a memorable Hell in a Cell match against Drew McIntyre.
While WWE Bad Blood 2024 had some memorable moments, nothing was better than the opening match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre.After 10 months of build, Punk and McIntyre ended their feud in one of the greatest Hell in a Cell matches in wrestling history.The duo battered and bruised each other with everything they could get their hands on, reminding everyone how brutal these matches could be.In the end, Punk came out on top. However, it may have come at a cost.
Later, WWE shared a clip on Instagram of Punk leaving the stage, having difficulty walking due to the aftermath of his brutal match.'Heal up , and we'll see you back real soon,' the caption read.As anyone who saw the match can tell you, Rollins and McIntyre more than deserve a break from the squared circle. They left it all in the ring as they brought one of the best current feuds in wrestling to an end.
