The Club for Growth, a leading anti-tax conservative group, said former President Donald Trump mirrors President Joe Biden's policies and rhetoric on Social Security.
“Joe Biden and Donald Trump have the same plan for Social Security: Cut 20 percent or more,” the group declared in a recent newspaper ad.Both programs are careening toward insolvency, according to multiple projections. The Club for Growth cited a study indicating that if Congress fails to reform the programs, they will be unable to provide full payments to recipients, which could trigger automatic cuts of about 23%.
"Social Security and Medicare, and Ron’s attack on both, have destroyed DeSanctimonious.
