San Franciscans hoping to witness the latest celestial phenomenon could be out of luck thanks to Karl the Fog
An annular solar eclipse will grace the country's skies on Saturday morning. But San Franciscans hoping to witness the “ring of fire” could be out of luck thanks to Karl the Fog.
Still, other regions in the U.S. will be able to experience the full, breathtaking sights of the eclipse better than others. These areas — which span a diagonal band of land from southeast Texas to western Oregon — are along the path of annularity. They will lie within the shadow of the moon during the eclipse.
