Several school districts and other businesses and agencies have announced closures for Tuesday.
Hurricane Beryl left severe damage across parts of the Houston area Monday morning.Due to Tropical Storm Beryl , hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses in and around the Houston area, including those in Alief ISD, are without power. In order to ensure the safe return of our students and staff, we will remain closed on Tuesday, July 9th.
The San Jacinto College Administration and Office of Emergency Management continue to closely monitor the forecasts and recovery efforts across the region. The San Jacinto College Police Department and facilities teams are assessing the campuses as it is deemed safe to do so.Due to Hurricane Beryl, all Lone Star College properties and operations will remain closed on Tuesday, July 9.
