KUALA LUMPUR: Another 1,484 units of police quarters worth RM1.95bil are currently being built.

Bukit Aman Logistics and Technology department director Comm Datuk Seri Rosli Ab Rahman said the allocation for the quarters were made under the Ninth, 10th and 11th Malaysia Plans.

"8,271 quarters have incurred damage and are currently being repaired and maintained," he told reporters at Bukit Aman on Wednesday . Meanwhile, Comm Rosli said an RM100mil allocation had been approved for the repair and replacement of lifts within 201 police premises in 2019."For 2020, an additional RM22mil has been approved for repairs of 41 lifts and repair work is currently in the planning stage," he said.
