Summary Dee Bradley Baker, best known for voicing the clones in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, and Star Wars: The Bad Batch, knows just what story he'd like to see next. There's a sense in which Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 3 was the end of George Lucas' legacy, because Clone Force 99 was one of his last ideas before selling Lucasfilm to Disney.
"Personally and selfishly, what I would love to see is... I would love to see Rex, Gregor, Echo, and Wolffe, and maybe even Cody, and see what they do to get them... we saw in Rebels. What do these rogue clones now do once the events that transpired in Bad Batch have played out? I'd love to see that. I think fans would do.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch ended with these clones working as a grassroots insurgency against the Empire. But the outcome of ths insurgency has been an open secret all along, because Star Wars Rebels has shown them years later, defeated but ultimately drawn back into the fight. Like the fans, Dee Bradley Baker really wants to see that story told.
