Smith: Time for Davis Mills, Texans' offense to show something
Maybe the Texans really have something in Davis Mills and Nick Caserio knows what he’s doing.So I’ll ask you this right now. What stood out the most Friday night in Inglewood, Calif.
If the Texans’ offense keeps looking this bad when it matters? It’s going to be a longgggg season, and the 2023 NFL draft isn't that far away. And I’m not even mentioning the fact that the Rams, who mostly dominated their opponent in the first half, may have eased up as backups of backups took the field and halftime approached for a meaningless game.
So, again, what stood out the most Friday: Mills struggling to do anything right for possession after preseason possession, or Mills finally connecting with Collins for an 18-yard TD with 1 second left in the half?
