At a business conference in San Francisco, the former president sounded alarms of the consequences to the country of Trump being reelected
At a San Francisco business conference Thursday, former president Bill Clinton warned of dire consequences for the county and for him personally if Donald Trump wins a second presidential term next month.
As someone who has opposed Trump and whose wife ran against him in 2016, Clinton said he thinks he, in particular, is in danger of being targeted by a reelected Trump. When the crowd in the Presidio Theatre laughed at Clinton’s suggestion that Trump could throw him in a “supermax prison,” he gently rebuked them.Trump famously threatened to “lock up” Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential campaign.
