Terreionna Paschal, 31, of Cleveland faces several charges in the death of Todd Morgan, 41, including aggravated murder with a firearm, a special felony, and tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony, the Summit County prosecutor’s office said Friday.

Morgan was shot in the head and torso and found dead in his home in the 300 block of West Streetsboro Street in Hudson on April 19, according to the office of the Summit County medical examiner. Authorities did not release any details in the case. Morgan was an assistant professor in the Department of Management in the Monte Ahuja College of Business at Cleveland State University.

In a statement, Cleveland State University’s president, Dr. Laura Bloomberg, described Morgan as a kind, dedicated colleague and a skilled educator. “Our hearts go out to Todd’s family and friends. Through my department’s investigation, we determined that this was an isolated incident,” Hudson’ police chief, Perry Tabak, said in a statement. If you purchase a product or register for an account through one of the links on our site, we may receive compensation.
