Alexander Sinclair, 34, is facing several charges, including, kidnapping, endangering children, assault, and inducing panic.
LAKE COUNTY , Ohio - Lake County prosecutors filed a motion Friday to keep the Cleveland police officer accused of firing a shot outside an elementary school held without bond.
Sinclair, 34, allegedly fired a shot during a domestic violence incident in the parking lot Riverview Elementary School around 9 a.m. on Oct. 31. According to court documents, the school safety officer, a Lake County Sheriff’s deputy, immediately responded to the parking lot after hearing the shot. Court documents show the deputy deployed his taser and was able to take Sinclair to the ground. Shortly afterwards, additional deputies arrived at the scene and helped take Sinclair into custody.While in the Lake County Jail, Sinclair also allegedly broke the restraining order, by calling his wife several times from the jail phone.
