Emma Finestone, associate curator at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, will be using a federal grant to continue her studies of Early Stone Age tools in Africa.

“People all around the world rely on tools and technology for survival. This is a fundamental aspect of what makes us human,” Finestone stated in a museum news release.
