Cleveland Italian Film Festival to showcase the best of Italian cinema in September

Now in its 17th year, the Cleveland Italian Film Festival will take place Sept. 12 to Sept. 26 at Cleveland area theaters.

The 2024 Cleveland Italian Film Festival will take place Sept. 12 to Sept. 26 at Cleveland-area theaters, including the Cedar Lee in Cleveland Heights.

Held over the course of three consecutive Thursdays, the festival eschews the typical film festival format by showcasing only one film per night. The festival concludes with “Ciao Brother” on Sept. 26, also at Atlas Cinemas Great Lakes. The 2016 comedy stars Fabrizio Nardi as a thief who escapes to Los Angeles, where he pretends to be the long-long brother of a wealthy man.
