CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cleveland Guardians and the Akron-born Black Keys have partnered to create a limited edition vinyl record pressing of the band’s upcoming album.
The album, Ohio Players, is out April 5 - and just a few weeks later both baseball and music fans will have the chance to get their hands on a copy of the limited edition “Erie Blue & Rust Belt Red” vinyl.for the April 20 Guardians vs Oakland Athletics game, or supporting a small business by purchasing a remaining copy at select stores across Northern and Central Ohio.
Those wishing to purchase their copy at a record store can do so starting April 8 to celebrate the Guardians Home Opener at Progressive Field. Ohio Players, a title inspired by the Dayton funk band of the same name, marks the 12th studio album for Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, who formed The Black Keys in 2001.
