CLEVELAND, Ohio – Northeast Ohio didn’t bring home a state title this season, but it did feature many great performances from boys lacrosse players in cleveland.com’s seven-county coverage area in the region.Blue was a first-team All-Ohio selection and the Division II, Region 6 player of the year for the Preppers, who reached the state semifinals. He finished the season with 172 points along with 49 ground balls. Blue, a Franklin & Marshall commit, was also a USA Lacrosse All-American.
Ferguson finished the season with 33 goals, 10 assists and 16 ground balls for the Wildcats, who reached a Division I regional final as a No. 1 seed. Ferguson was named second-team All-Ohio.Lang had 39 goals and 13 assists for the Pirates, a No. 2 postseason seed knocked out in the regional semifinals, 2-1, by eventual Division II state runner-up Toledo St. John’s. Lang was named second-team All-Ohio.
