The new office has 18 exam rooms, including rooms for echocardiograms, pulmonary testing, allergy testing observation, and two behavioral health rooms. “This expansion in downtown Akron reflects our commitment to improving access to high-quality specialized pediatric care in the region,” said Dr. Rita Pappas, interim chief of Cleveland Clinic Children’s. “Families can now receive specialized services closer to home.”

The new location will have 23 physicians and offer a range of pediatric care services, including nutrition, primary care, psychiatry, pulmonology, allergy and cardiology.
