CLEVELAND, Ohio - EDWINS Head Chef Brandon Chrostowski is heading to Israel to help feed families impacted by the war.
“I hope that going there and cooking with these chefs from Israel and supporting what they are trying to do is feed those displaced, soldiers on the front lines, and anyone else who needs a meal and know that someone has got their back,” Chrostowski said.No magic recipe for the suffering in Ukraine, but a Cleveland chef will try to heal through food
“I hope that they know that whatever dialogue is going on globally that we support people who are trying to live at peace,” Chrostowski said.“How exactly it heals, I don’t know,” Chrostowski said. “It’s different for every individual but for just a moment your body can feel at peace and to me that’s the healing in things because a few moments at peace in a time of war is like an eternity.
