Wade suffered a meniscus tear in his right knee, which caused him to miss the final 15 games of the regular season and play-in tournament. Before the injury, Wade averaged 5.3 points in 19.2 minutes while shooting 35.9% from 3-point range. He scored in double figures in 11 of his 28 starts and shot 42.9% from beyond the arc in his final 12 games as a starter from Jan. 24 through March 12.
Over three seasons with the Cavaliers, Wade has averaged 5.3 points and 3.0 rebounds. He is a career 36.5% long-range shooter, filling an important stretch-forward role. Originally undrafted out of Kansas State in 2019, Wade earned a spot on the roster with a two-way deal. A success story of the team’s player development program, Wade’s role continues to increase.
