CLEVELAND, Ohio – In a Wednesday letter sent to Cleveland Browns season ticketholders, the Haslam Sports Group said they are still deciding between a renovation of Cleveland’s lakefront stadium and the construction of a new domed stadium in Brook Park., included renderings and video of what a $2.
The letter to season ticketholders, and the release of Brook Park renderings, comes days after Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb on Thursday went public with his offer to the Browns. Bibb’s offer would have city taxpayers pay less than half of the downtown renovation, though his team won’t say how much less. It’s also still unclear how much the county or state may kick in.
They “remain engaged” with City Hall about a potential renovation downtown but described it as a “complex and challenging proposition.”
