Does Odell Beckham Jr. want out of Cleveland as some reports suggest? The Browns star wide receiver won't comment.
The Akron Beacon-JournalCLEVELAND — Odell Beckham Jr. declined another opportunity to shut down speculation about the superstar wide receiver wanting to flee the Browns.
Asked about Glazer’s report that he wants out of Cleveland, Beckham said, “I’m not going to talk about any offseason stuff that’s going on. Right now, the focus is to win, 1-0, and that’s what we did today. Any other questions about it I’m not going to answer.” “I don’t see that relationship ending well for them after this year,” Glazer said to wrap up his segment on the 6-7 Browns and Beckham, who’s under contract through the 2023 season after arriving in Cleveland via a March trade with the New York Giants, who signed the three-time Pro Bowl selection to a five-year, $90 million contract extension in August 2018.
“No, no, he wants to win,” said Mayfield, who went 11-of-24 passing for 192 yards with two interceptions and a rating of 38.9 against the Bengals . “I’ve said that over and over again, and that’s not going to change, and he’s not going to change who he is. In an unpredictable twist, Mayfield publicly criticized the team’s medical staff for its approach to Beckham’s injury.
