Cleveland leaders are asking the General Assembly to help pay for 10 construction projects, including a walkway connecting downtown’s grand mall to Lake Erie and an Irishtown Bend project to transform 24 acres of unusable land into a park.

-Lake-Clifton Bridge Connector Trail: It would improve infrastructure for bicyclists and pedestrians along Lake Erie, between Lakewood and Rocky River. Currently, cyclists and pedestrians lack accommodations along Clifton Boulevard, creating an unsafe environment and discouraging use along this segment of lakefront.
-Restore Rockefeller: A project that will be built on the existing stream restoration project at Doan Brook and a recent investment at Centennial Peace Plaza, will feature new park entrances with improved access and visibility from the adjacent neighborhood. An environmentally themed plaza will provide a “living classroom” about regional water resources.
