Kevin Smith confirmed the exciting news last week as he took to Twitter to share the news with fans."6 MORE DAYS until the CLERKS III trailer debuts! I assure you, I'll be here to irritate you every day about it until the trailer drops on WEDNESDAY, July 6th!," he wrote. "Until then, follow @ClerksMovie on all the social platforms for more art & updates! Come back to the 90s with me, Kids!"

The threequel, helmed by Smith, will see Jeff Anderson and Brian O'Halloran reprising the roles of Randal and Dante respectively, with Jason Mewes and Smith also appearing as Jay and Silent Bob. Rosario Dawson will star as Becky, a character she first played in
