A laundry expert has shared a simple and effective technique to use lemon to remove stains on laundry and brighten whites
Ice lolly spills, juice, food stains … if you’re a parent, you probably deal with stained clothes on the daily. Which means you’ll likely be keen to hear of any cheap and effective stain-removing hacks.
The hack is said to work on tricky grease and oil stains as well as watery stains like tomato or watermelon juice. And all you’ll need is a lemon – available from most supermarkets for 30p or less. Deyan recommends adding half a cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice into your detergent drawer when washing whites.
