Claire's on her way to her third marriage in Outlander season 7, though this will, oddly enough, make her even closer to Jamie. The ending of episode 10 saw Lord John Grey propose marriage following the devistating reveal that Jamie is presumed dead after his ship was lost. If Claire hopes to survive, she had no choice but to accept his hand—a rather familiar concept since this is precisely why she married Jamie back in Outlander season 1.
Of course, this marriage will be different from the last one. When Claire married Jamie, she had already reluctantly fallen in love with him. Once they were officially together, she lost the desire to return to Frank and became wholly invested in Jamie instead. As Outlander duplicates this story in season 7, it's clear that history won't be repeated in the same way. Jamie is Claire's soulmate, and no amount of affection for Lord John could distract her from this.
