The k-pop group reminisces on past looks, first tour, and more ahead of third anniversary.
CIX has established a look that is best described by Seunghun: “The style that CIX has shown and wants to show is unexplainable. If you listen to our songs, you’ll know what I mean."
“I wanted this tour to represent our true color as a group, so we put in a lot of effort to show our color through outfits, performances, and everything else,” Hyunsuk says. “If you’re a FIX who has seen our performances, you would have gotten the feeling, ‘Yes, that is the true CIX!’” Seunghun’s looking out for the other members too. Since Jinyoung’s birthday happened to be the same day as the final show, he prepared a present for him: an assortment of Vaseline in different scents and sizes, that. “Jinyoung often looks for a lip balm," Seunghun shares. "I remembered that and thought, ‘If I buy him a lot, he wouldn’t need to look for one in a hurry.
The rest of the members’ styles are a bit more dynamic. “I used to like a very unique style, but recently I prefer a style that is neater," Seunghun explains of his current sartorial choices. Hyunsuk has also been changing his tune recently. “I consider myself playful yet serious. I usually like a dandy style, but sometimes I try more adventurous styles. I guess I want to show two sides of my personality interchangeably,” he admits.
Throughout the tour in the U.S., the group wore four sets of outfits on each stage, starting with military-inspired uniforms, lowkey looks for their solo stages, trendy black-and-white outfits, and ending with the group stepping out in their merch. Among these, BX doesn't hesitate to pick the group’s favorites. “Most members love the uniform outfit. We didn’t get many chances to wear uniforms, so our fans really loved it when we finally wore them.
