Members of Columbus city council and Mayor Andrew Ginther will gather in council chambers on Monday morning to announce a plan to relieve medical debt for many

Columbus residents.The announcement is expected to detail a partnership between the city and central Ohio hospital systems meant to provide debt relief to hundreds of thousands of Columbus residents, a news release from the city said.

City Council President Shannon Hardin and President Pro Tem Rob Dorans will be joined by Ginther and Jeff Klingler, president and CEO of Central Ohio Hospital Council.
