City Press: Celebrating 40 years of journalistic excellence
City Press literally was born, grew up and matured in the fiery cauldron of the liberation struggle.
This newspaper is, in the parlance of many in our country, a true child of the revolution. From its birth in 1982, City Press threw herself into the battle against apartheid’s evils, risking the lives and livelihoods of those who worked for the newspaper. We thank South Africa for travelling with us throughout our four decades of truth telling. It is our promise to remain loyal to the truth and never waiver in our quest to deliver the best journalism – weekly, daily, hourly and minute by minute.Subscribe to News24 for just R75 per month to read all our investigative and in-depth journalism.
