The City of Joburg has taken an aggressive approach and is claiming back more than R300 million, which businesses and housing complexes in Midrand owe for municipal services.
Their first stop was at the Vaal Value Warehouse offices in Erand Gardens Extension 4, which owes R1.5 million for electricity.The City turned its focus to Zwa Tadulu Capital Pty Ltd, where it cut supply for an outstanding amount of R721 000.
The fourth stop was at the housing complex Leopard Rock in Noordwyk, which owes the City R5 million for electricity.
