Low-income Tucsonans will be able to pre-apply for affordable housing on the new website, which recently went live. Applicants will be selected using lottery system starting in February 2023. In anticipation of a large number of applicants who may not have internet access in their current living situations, HCD says it is working with non-profits, other agencies and community partners to provide public access to computers.

Anyone interested in getting involved with the city's public housing programs, HCD is planning a public meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 16.
