SAN ANTONIO - On Thursday, San Antonio 's city manager unveiled the proposed budget for next year in front of the city council.There is no planned tax increase for next year, Walsh says the overall revenue growth for the city is back to pre-pandemic levels. Rising expenses are increasing faster than the city's revenue growth.
Right now, the city is working with a general fund budget of nearly $1.7 billion. Most of those funds are going to public safety, taking up more than 60% of the budget.
