Work at the Manila City Hall will continue amid surging COVID-19 cases, Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso said on Monday, Jan. 10.
During Monday’s flag raising ceremony, Domagoso noted that several workers of the City Hall are sick and infected with COVID-19 in the past week.
“Life must go on. We must serve. Inaasahan tayo ng taong-bayan …. Tuluy-tuloy lang tayo. Walang titigil, walang tulugan. This is the price we have to pay in public service dahil wala namang ibang aasahan ang ating mga kababayan ,” the Manila mayor added.
