For a few hours Tuesday, a costumed crowd enjoyed spooky scenes at Fairbanks City Hall
FAIRBANKS, Alaska - They say vampires can only come inside if you invite them and that’s exactly what Fairbanks City officials decided to do.
“We decided to open up City Hall again for the trick-or-treaters of Fairbanks this year,” Mayor David Pruhs told Newscenter Fairbanks. “Every department did something special, their own theme,” he added. With the backdrop of laughter, music and crinkling candy wrappers, the afternoon event seemed popular among the chocolate-seeking crowd that circulated throughout the building.
