by SBG San Antonio Staff ReportsJCB Inc. chose San Antonio as the site of its second manufacturing facility in North America. It's the world's largest privately owned manufacturer of construction and agricultural equipment. It is expected to boost the San Antonio economy with $30 billion over the next 10 years.
On Thursday, the City Council approved a 10-year tax abatement agreement for a 90% abatement for JCB Inc.With plans to build a 750,000-square-foot facility, it will located off Palo Alto Rd, near Leon Creek.
