“We will give our all for this collaboration in the drive towards a carbon-neutral world of net-zero emissions by 2050,” said Citaglobal's executive chairman and president.
The areas of collaboration between Citaglobal and PETRONAS will include RE technologies and applications comprising battery energy storage system , biogas engine, biomass engineering, waste to energy , heat to energy and carbon capture and utilisation , among others.
“From Citaglobal’s side, we believe that we are in a good position to lead in the BESS space, as we already have the experience and technical know-how. Citaglobal said the MoU would cover the installation of BESS to accelerate the technology advancement and green electron generation with deployment of 246 kWh of Malaysian BESS for PETRONAS’ Centre of Excellence for Renewable Energy.
