Lawyers for the bankruptcy trustee in Cinch Wireline's Chapter 7 case say they have been denied access to business records despite a court order.

As Chief U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Craig Gargotta himself said from the bench, he’s known as a jurist with “considerable patience.” During a Tuesday hearing, though, his usual restraint was put to the test in the Chapter 7 bankruptcy of Cinch Wireline Services LLC, the San Antonio -area oil and gas service company whose representatives are accused of burning and burying business records in a lawsuit filed against them by the trustee administering the case.
