Cimatu gave credit to the extensive contact tracing that is now being implemented in Cebu City for its possible shift to GCQ starting next month.
“We are making progress now because of contact tracing. I am expecting na bababa by next week. So, hopefully by the end of the month, we’ll go down to GCQ,” he said.
Cimatu told businessmen that the government is “implementing all possible measures to address the health situation in the city and breathe life into its economy.” “What you said, Sir, is good news. Businesses are now more health-conscious and I believe we are better equipped this time ,” said Felix Taguiam, president of Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry .
“Most of the business owners in the City are traders. The Chamber has 391 members, and right now I already received 92 requests for closure,” he said.
