Chyler Leigh, who played Lexie Grey, expressed regret over not being able to film a dream sequence cameo with Eric Dane during Grey's Anatomy season 17 due to COVID-19 quarantine restrictions. She recalled the emotional impact of Mark Sloan's death and shared her grief following Dane's passing from ALS.
“One thing that I’m really bummed about … was that when Lexie comes back … we were filming during COVID, actual COVID, and I was filmingin an interview shared via Instagram on Sunday, May 31.
