K-pop's princess of addictive pop hits, Chung Ha, returned on Monday with her dramatic new single "Snapping."
Powered by her charismatic singing and a propulsive, clapping beat straight out of early '00s pop blended with smooth R&B vibes -- plus a. The album features five tracks, including the title song that Chung Ha co-wrote, the Latin pop-inspired “Chica,” and “Young In Love,” co-written by popular South Korean songstress Baek Yerin.
Like all of her music videos, "Snapping" sees a dramatic performance from Chung Ha, who rose to prominence as one-twelfth of temporary girl groupand transitioned into a successful solo career. The music video features the 23-year-old switching off between a variety of elaborately choreographed dance sequences as she sings about "Snapping" away the end of a relationship and starting anew.
