Chula Vista woman accused of strangling aunt during argument over cleaning [Breaking]
A 32-year-old Chula Vista woman was arrested Saturday on suspicion of strangling her aunt in their home during an argument over cleaning, police said Monday.
Family members of the victim, 52-year-old Leticia Hernandez, contacted police after not hearing from her for more than 24 hours, police said. Officers went to her home on East Prospect Street near Castle Park High School about 7:30 p.m. Friday and searched the house, where they found Hernandez dead under a pile of clothes in her bedroom, Lt. Dan Peak said.He said detectives determined Hernandez and a niece she lived with argued about cleaning their home.
