Christopher Walken Still Watching 'Severance' on DVDs

Christopher Walken, the acclaimed actor known for his unique style and captivating performances, revealed during a recent promotional event that he doesn't have access to streaming services and relies on DVDs to watch the Apple TV+ show 'Severance,' in which he stars.

The 81-year-old actor revealed that he doesn't own any of the necessary equipment to stream Apple TV+, and relies on DVDs to watch the show he stars in. During a promotional appearance on Andy Cohen's SiriusXM show, Walken shared that he's not tech-savvy enough to access streaming services. 'I don't have anything,' he admitted. 'I don't have the equipment, so they're good enough to send me DVDs,' he added, referring to Apple TV+.

Walken plays Burt Goodman, an employee whose memories have been surgically divided between his work and personal life in the Apple TV+ series 'Severance.'The show, which premiered in 2022, explores the lives of office workers at Lumon, a company that has implemented a procedure to surgically divide their memories between their work and personal lives. When a mysterious colleague appears outside of work, it triggers a journey to uncover the truth about their jobs and the motives behind Lumon's practices. Walken's character, Burt Goodman, is the Head of Optics and Design at Lumon and is deeply impacted by the severance procedure. Joining Walken for the promotional event were his fellow cast members Adam Scott, Zach Cherry, Patricia Arquette, Britt Lower, and Tramell Tillman. The cast engaged in a unique promotional stunt, performing scenes from the show inside a large glass cube situated in a busy subway station in New York City. For two and a half hours, they acted out their characters' daily routines, oblivious to the stunned commuters who stopped to watch them. The immersive performance added a captivating layer to the show's marketing campaign, blurring the lines between fiction and reality
